Nordic Pure pleated AC air filters are made of electrostatically charged synthetic materials that attract and capture most airborne particulates in your home or office. Each time air passes through a Nordic Pure pleated furnace filter, lint, household dust, pollen, dust mites, pet dander, baking flour, mold spores and other contaminants are removed. Our filter media prevents the growth of bacteria or mold, resulting in a much healthier living space. This high performance HVAC replacement filter will outperform non-electrostatic fiberglass filters, washable filters, poly disposable filters, and will help keep your air conditioning and heating systems running efficiently, saving you money on utilities and costly maintenance. The effective life of your air filter depends on both the inside and outside conditions of the environment in which the filter is being used. We recommend that you change your air filter every 30-90 days to maintain maximum efficiency and indoor air quality. Furnace and air condition filters have an ACTUAL size that is a fraction of an inch smaller in length and width than the listed air filter size. For example, a 20x30x1 air filter is actually 19 ½ x 29 ½ x ¾. Please use a tape measure to get the ACTUAL size of your current air filter when ordering custom sizes. You might check the ACTUAL sizes of our other air filters to make sure a standard size air filter wouldn't work for you. The ACTUAL width and length of the air filter should be within 1/8 of an inch-if not, order a custom size air filter. Custom air filters are made by cutting down or combining 1, 2 or 3 a/c air filter frames. Depending on the size we may use tape to make your custom size air filters. So, they might not be pretty, but they will be strong.
