This 0.75 inch scale, Townhouse Framing Kit, with staircase, is framed in accordance with accepted building codes and teaches the fundamentals of sound wood frame construction. It combines framed walls with balloon framed walls (vaulted ceiling) and the roof is framed with a combination of trusses and conventional rafters. Second story construction includes the use of floor joists and sub-floor sheathing. The kit comes complete with Micro-Cut Quality balsa wood, working drawings, instructions, cutting tools, nails, glue, layout pencil, measuring tape, custom miter jig and a Styrofoam work base that doubles as a display base for the completed model. Food pad measures approximately 1.5 x 2 feet.
