The Metabo DS 200 plus, 8” heavy duty bench grinder features a maintenance-free, low-noise and low-vibration 120V single phase induction motor with 600 W / 5.5 Amps, providing a no-load speed of 3,600 RPM, which makes this tool ideal for sharpening, grinding and deburring applications. Two heavy duty adjustable steady rests are included, one of which includes a center groove for sharpening welding tungsten as well as angle indicators for sharpening drill bits. Adjustable eye shields and spark deflectors cover the wheels on both sides of the bench grinder, providing safety and protection while grinding. The integrated LED work lights illuminate the work area for ease of operation. The tool is compatible with 8” wire wheels, and scope of delivery includes (2) vitrified aluminum oxide grinding wheels coarse 36 P and fine 60 N, spark deflectors, adjustable steady rests, and hex wrench.
