The factory pickup can lead to severe engine damage or catastrophic failure due to the screen dislodging under high oil pressure, allowing debris and even fragments of the screen itself to enter the engine. The OEM design is notorious for restricting oil flow, creating the potential for oil starvation. The IAG Pickup is designed to solve these issues. With an enhanced design that improves oil flow and durability, it offers a dependable solution to the problems with OEM oil pickups.
- PERFORMS UNDER PRESSURE - The OEM strainer screens are a weak link in the OEM pickup. The OEM tack-welds that hold the screen inplace block part of the screen, obstructing oil flow while the heat from sloppy welding on the screen’s surface causes it to become brittle & prone to breakage. Our design addresses these issues by adding the use of a robust mesh screen that is pressure fitted between a 2piece housing cast from premium 304 Stainless Steel. The screen is securely in place by the housing, which is hand TIG welded with care to prevent overheating or causing obstructions on the screen. The IAG Pickup is built to stand strong against the pressure of the most demanding driving conditions.

The pickup tube's thicker walls provide increased strength and durability over the factory design. Unlike the OEM oil pickup, which has a restrictive 45-degree bend, IAG’s design includes only a slight bend, ensuring unrestricted oil flow. Additionally, the rearward position of the pickup tube inside the oil pan provides more direct access to oil, optimizing flow to the engine and improving overall performance.
